ROSSMANN E-Commerce Warehouse Adopts Sustainable Packaging Solutions from PAPAIR

In a bid to reduce plastic usage and increase efficiency, ROSSMANN's new e-commerce warehouse in Großburgwedel/Hanover has partnered with PAPAIR to implement sustainable packaging solutions. The collaboration marks a significant shift towards environmentally friendly practices while maintaining efficient workflows.

Sustainable Packaging Meets Efficient Processes

ROSSMANN's goal was clear: to achieve plastic-free packaging without compromising safety or handling. Working together with PAPAIR, they introduced pre-configured sheets (PapairSheets) and cushioning bags (PapairBags) in custom dimensions. This innovation speeds up order picking and reduces costs. According to Simon Fuhse, Head of Inventory Availability at ROSSMANN:

“Thanks to Papair's customized solutions, we were able to integrate a large part of the cushioning packaging directly into our picking process. This simplifies our workflows considerably.”
